Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat loves it I recently decided to get a puppy. The owner suggested Taste of the Wild products. He sent home with me a little cat food to see if my cat liked it. He was getting picky about his wet food and didn't care if he ate the dry. I started feeding him ONLY the dry Taste of the Wild. Within two weeks I seen a noticeable difference in him. He started playing harder and longer. His coat became softer and believe it or not, he became more loving. I honestly think I was slowly killing my cat. I wish I knew about Taste of the Wild sooner and will continue to use this for my cat and for my new puppy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 3 cats love it I have 2 older cats with food issues. One has had 2 urinary blockages and has to have a food with DL-Methionine in it plus he throws up his food if it has corn in it. My 15 year old has ingredient allergies that cause itchy skin and my 3rd one is over weight and has dry skin issues. I have tried many different dry foods to resolve all their issues. I found Prey Angus Beef at Rural King in Spring Hill Florida. My cats love it, no throwing up, no flaky, itchy skin, no urine problems, the limited ingredients seems to have solved their issues. Their coats are beautiful and they are happy & healthy. I hope Rural King keeps carrying it as it seems to be hard to find locally. Thank you Taste Of The Wild!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 12-year old kitty loves Prey: Taste of the Wild Angus Beef Formula! She has never in her life secretly gotten into any food stash and I caught her getting into this. She’s been on Science Diet her whole life, so I’m sure this Angus Beef flavor is a welcome change. She has a very tender tummy, but not once has she thrown up as I integrated this food into her diet. We haven’t had her on it long enough to notice any changes in her activity level or coat. Consensus is, we love it! Kitty approves! Thank you, Influenster, for the complimentary samples! #WildforPrey #influenster

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miso Approves-Yummy!! Our indoor only cat was recently diagnosed with a double ear infection-he has issues with foods and has a narrow range of foods that do not upset his stomach-imagine a 20 lb cat with explosive diarrhea....not fun for any of us! I read that corn is a pet food ingredient that is know to cause allergies or reactions like yeast type skin infections and also ear infections. We began reading labels and saw that Taste of the Wild had a beef formula-and no corn or grain-Beef is one of the things that our cat can eat but very hard to find in cat food. We purchased the small bag to try out-MISO LOVES IT!! When he had no adverse reaction after eating it, we went back and bought the large bag. We have 4 cats but they eat the same foods. I hope we will be able to find this food in the future because all of our cats are eating it with gusto!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Cat finally isn't sick in the litter box after My littlest of 4 cats has always had problems blowing up the liter box after eating.I've had her on grain free from all the top brands to no avail. My local store suggested this and immediately she went to the litter box normally just like my other cats. All their coats seem to be softer also. All 4 cats love this food. I no longer have issues with the others throwing up from eating to fast either since switching over to this food. Great Product!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a hit. I have two kitties at different life stages and they loved both formulas. I bought my first full size bag of the beef today, as I was waiting until I ran out of their other LID food. I am impressed with the ingredients and the fact that all (of my) cats love the food. Thanks TOTW!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Angus beef recipe helped Ziggy with his IBD Ziggy has been very sick for a long time….. the vets thought it was lymphoma but I thought it was IBD so I researched it and I started him on a strict regimen of vitamins, meds, and food….. I chose taste of the wild Angus beef recipe because of the limited ingredients…. Cats with IBD have digestive problems with diarrhea….. since Ziggy has been eating taste of the wild, he has increased his weight and his diarrhea has all but disappeared….. I am now transitioning my six other cats to only eating taste of the wild!!😁🐾

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Influenster just sent me this for free and I was so incredibly excited to have the cats try it out. They normally eat the normal taste of the wild rocky mountain feline formula and they seem to really like it, but they INHALED this stuff. I know I can trust taste of the wild for my pet food needs because they use great ingredients and provide my cats with protein packed food! Taste of The Wild prey has even better ingredients than standard because its gmo (not that this is a problem, but we won't get into that) free and has limited ingredients to keep my kitties tummy happy!!

What protein is the "natural flavor" in the ingredients? How is this protein processed?

Asked by: jessica
Hello and thanks for your question! Natural flavoring is an ingredient added for enhanced palatability and an extra-tasty meaty flavor in your pet's food. It's made from hydrolyzed chicken, which means that the protein is broken down into small particles that are less likely to be recognized by the immune system in a pet with food allergies. Additionally, it does not contain MSG.

I noticed the beef in this food is pasture raised but is it grass finished? I'm looking for humanely raised food for my furbabies. Nearly all beef it pasture raised so the description doesn't really help.

Asked by: Heather

My package says Angus Beef, Lentils & sunflower oil. Are you switching to chicken oil? If yes, I need to find different food. My cat has started licking himself raw again. He can have 0 chicken, including the oil

Asked by: troshalom
Hello, thanks for contacting us. Occasionally, a recipe changes due to an improvement in the recipe or ingredient availability. We recently replaced sunflower oil with chicken fat in our PREY recipes. This minor change does not alter the nutrient guarantee nor the caloric content and offers the same benefits of promoting skin and coat health. Additionally, chicken fat does not contain chicken protein, so cats with chicken allergies are less likely to have a reaction to this ingredient. Please let us know if you have any further questions by contacting us at https://totw.pet/contact-us.
